| Integrated Combined Competitive Exams (CCE) These are the primary civil service recruitments for the state of Bihar. 70th Integrated CCE (Advt. 70 CCE): This recruitment features 2,035 vacancies. Prelims were held on December 13, 2024, and January 4, 2025, with results published on January 23, 2025. Mains/Written exams are scheduled for April 25, 26, 28, 29, and 30, 2025. Interviews are slated for January 2026, with the final result expected in April/May 2026. 71st Integrated CCE (Advt. 71 CCE): There are 1,298 vacancies for this cycle. Prelims took place on September 13, 2025, with results out in November 2025. Mains/Written exams are scheduled for April 2026, and the final result date is currently TBD. 72nd Integrated CCE (Advt. 72 CCE): Prelims/MCQ exams are tentatively scheduled for July 26, 2026. Vacancy counts and further dates are yet to be announced. Education and Academic Positions Special Teacher (Advt. 42/2025): A major recruitment with 7,279 vacancies. The written exam is scheduled for January 2026, with results expected in February 2026. Assistant Education Development Officer (Advt. 87/2025): There are 935 vacancies. The exam is set for April 2026, with results following in June 2026. Simultala Residential School, Jamui (Advt. 29/2024): Secondary and Higher Secondary Teacher recruitment for 62 vacancies. Prelims results were published on December 6, 2024. Mains/Written exams are scheduled for June 17–18, 2026. Medical & Ayurvedic Faculty (Advt. 04/2025 to 67/2025): Over 1,800 positions for Assistant Professors in State Medical, Ayurvedic, and Tibbi Colleges are currently in the interview phase, but specific dates are TBD pending departmental directions. Science & Technology Dept (Advt. 79/2025 to 107/2025): Recruitment for HODs (241 vacancies), Professors (169 vacancies), and Associate Professors (455 vacancies) are in the interview phase with dates TBD. Legal and Specialized Administrative Posts 33rd Judicial Services: Recruitment for 173 vacancies. Prelims are scheduled for May 30, 2026. Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO): Recruitment for 300 vacancies. Prelims are scheduled for July 15, 2026. District Statistical Officer / Assistant Director (Advt. 38/2025): For 47 vacancies. Mains exams are scheduled for January 2026, with results expected in February 2026. Assistant Section Officer (Advt. 37/2025): Features 41 vacancies. Mains/Written exams are scheduled for February 2026, with results in March 2026. Lower Division Clerk (Advt. 43/2025): For 26 vacancies. Typing tests are scheduled for January 2026, with final results in February 2026. Environment and Engineering Positions Pollution Control Board (Advt. 32/2025 to 35/2025 & 39/2025): Various roles including Junior Lab Assistant (9 vacancies), Law Officer (1 vacancy), Assistant Environment Officer (24 vacancies), PRO (1 vacancy), and System Analyst (1 vacancy) Written results are due in January 2026, Interviews in February 2026, and Final Results in March 2026 Assistant Engineer Combined Exams (Advt. 29/2025 to 31/2025): Features 1,040 vacancies. Written exams were held in July 2025, and results are pending High Court compliance regarding revised vacancies from RCD. Assistant Environmental Scientist (Advt. 88/2025): For 17 vacancies, with the exam scheduled for April 23, 2026 Assistant Town Planner (Advt. 89/2025): Features 36 vacancies. Auditor, Panchayati Raj Dept (Advt. 09/2026): Exam on July 5, 2026. Research Officer, Revenue Dept (Advt. 08/2026): Exam on July 15, 2026. Important Notices Postponed: Assistant Revenue and Accounts Officer (285 vacancies) and Assistant Urban Welfare and Registration Officer (285 vacancies) have been postponed by the department.
